Will you please help in moderating the Section by reporting posts that violate rules. I wasn't expecting such a sweeping remark without any due consideration of members fulfilling their responsibilities.

Eagle, before I reply to you, are these profile page comment sections private, or are they open to everyone or just the mods? I'd like to keep my criticism and complaining private as much as possible and I thought this was somewhat private to tagged members and now moderators. Or is that wrong?

Its public. My concern is that report any post violating the rules instead of blaming Moderation like this. Remember that no Mod can read all the posts and can go through every single thread like this. Moderation works actively on the basis of reported posts. Since there are no reports, how can one handle any thread or section.

I totally understand that and am aware of the reporting etc. So where can a sincere conversation be had about that exact concern I mentioned? Is there a private messaging or something like that? I edited that part of the comment in the first post out of respect to you fellas. I thought this was a private area.

A private conversation can be initiated only in presence of some Mod or staff member having privileges for private conversation.

I like to participate in interesting threads or initiating them..but what was going on is quite sincerely appalling..Some Turks and their Mod himself.. and sadly some Pakistanis too think they can troll, insult Arabs day in day out.. without being stopped..

and if you go to the Turkish section and comment normally on one of their fake articles' threads.. you still get insulted as an Arab and even by their " Int'l Mod"..even though they started to get personal and dirty.. which is against the rules..

I can tell, that's why I asked to be sure. I just didn't realize this was public until Eagle just told me. You see, this is how Arabs and I can tell right away, even when I don't even know you on a personal level.

I still know you enough simply based on out own interactions here for the last 5 years and we've seen a lot of Arabs leave this place because why the hell should they stay here and take the abuse from those particular members whom are disgustingly offensive and rude and insulting on every thread that has to do with Egypt.

Even when one of them tried that rubbish last week on the armed forces thread, I had to yell and be very aggressive to get people's attention because they were trying to ruin that one and only thread we have were we shouldn't have to deal with their filthy and insulting behavior.

But now there's an even bigger problem with an individual abusing his powers with me and I certainly don't need that crap and I'll find a way to confront it head on. If it doesn't get fixed, then that's alright too because this isn't the only forum out there.

Plenty of excellent places and the only drawback would be losing friendship with you and @Hamartia Antidote (he knows what it's like to be targeted by a mod for personal reasons and not because of the rules only which is despicable) and a couple others but that's ok.

You can report a Mod too.. you know.. I do that when there is obvious abuse of power.. You know some guys hate Arabs for their guts, wealth (like if they all filthy rich), success and much more..So it is their psychological problem..not ours..

Hey I take abuse constantly (as I even pull you into threads showing you it). You have to hang tough and know you have chums here (like I do with you) to talk sane conversations with.

We respect all and insult none..unless there is too much provocation ..but there is certainly much verbal abuse..and a lot of trolling to try to squeeze more info.... which should not be tolerated by Mods according to the forum rules..

I's the same group that comes to the Arab & ME sections and brings it's boot-lickers who will die in support of these idiots and the amount of filthy racism that goes unchecked while my 54 year old my posts are deleted or even edited for trolling or flaming LOLOLOL which is the worst thing to do (and I know who's dong it ever since he's been given the power, he's been abusing it) and it's just awful.

Time to go back to the boating and other MUCH better military forums I enjoy the moderation actually works the way it's supposed to. Nothing is worst than a abusive mod who's targeting you. That's just pure garbage. Later, gents. Ant you got my mobile # right? Shoot me a text sometime.

I'll probably get the boat trailered to Chatham for a week or so and we'll be spending every day on it looking for the many great whites out there and flying the drone and then having dinner in the best restaurants at night time.
