I saw that thread you opened a bit earlier this morning. It's definitely the new thing in war and we've seen it extensively in Syria but more so in Libya. Even Egypt has invested in A LOT of Chinese UAVs, mainly the Wing Loong and has had incredible success with them.

Even the Russians are saying that stealth aircraft are not so much of a worry with their radar technologies as UAVs and UACVs are. Once someone makes cheap and effective kamikaze drones by the thousands, that will introduce a whole new form of headache for defenses.

$1B invested in tiny drones is probably going to have more payback than a capital ship. Plus you can't shoot down a drone swarm with an S-400 battery.

I looked at WCVB for the weather yesterday to see if I had to run out and clear the leaves from the lawn as I was busy with other stuff. It said no precipitation for next few days. Look out the window today and see wet leaves...now this...nice
