I know. But Myanmar is on its way to democracy. Aung Sung Suki is there leader. If their generals are moved, we have a big market in myanmar.
the generals are still in command. they cannot even control their own country. the only thing they can do is gun down defenseless civilians and deny medical care to cyclone victims.

Instead of a war, bangladesh can help Myanmar democratically. Bangladeshis can work as a foreign worker there and help out Myanmar people with bangladesh's own fund.

Besides, war mongering and talking bs and changing your alias, do you contribute anything here? And why you have a such a dependent and submissive mentality to always relay on someone. Others have their own interest and they are not going to look after us, plain simple reality. There are many ways to tackle Myanmar even without using guns. Even Awami regime knows that. So shut you pie ho**

How will myanmar attack our chicken neck? Thats far from myanmar! They will have to jump over tripura.. Moreover we can always cross to chittagong from Barishal through water...

and Please do not comment reading myanmar's military wikipedia page. Those are all fake......

Myanmar has a tremendous number of artillery, Multiple rocket launchers and anti air systems! but its not that stronger in other branches, 32 mig-29 still small number. I think Pakistan would help Bangladesh to improve its military. But can you guys tell us whats the problem between those countries?

First of all, the 'chicken's neck' is Indian territory. What? You implying they invade India?

And secondly, the hills of Chittagong is not easy for an invader. Even driving up and down around the roads there can be dangerous.

If you are indeed so frustrated with illegals, why not just mobilize your country's forces against us? And see what happens

Here's what BDMilitary has to say:

The bdmilitary. com staff members congratulate the Bangladesh Foreign Minister, Rear Admiral (retd) Md Khurshed Alam, attorneys James Crawford, Philippe Sands and Alan Boyle of the United kingdom, Paul Reichler and Lawrence Martin of the United States, and Payam Akhavan of Canada for their successful efforts.

This victory for Bangladesh is a victory for all nations that believe in justice, fairness and peaceful co-existence. We hope and invite Myanmar to abide by the ruling in order to prevent any unacceptable situation from occurring but we also warn them that if any attempt is made to occupy Bangladesh’s maritime territory they will face a military response with devastating consequences as the Bangladesh armed forces will not allow one inch of the motherland to be occupied by foreign aggressors.

We repeat that now is the most dangerous time and that the Bangladesh armed forces, Government of Bangladesh and all concerned agencies of Bangladesh should maintain a strong vigil to prevent Myanmar from occupying Bangladesh’s maritime territories.

If there's a war, I'm expecting our SWADS guys to play an important role.

Should not we have a good relation with Myanmar to get quick access to China through transit/Asian highway? I also heard BD will take lease lands from them and produce crops there which are economic opportunities for us.

Myanmar's ruling junta is all show. They can barely keep their own country under control.

And besides, Aung San Suu Kyi has tremendous support. Let's all wish her the best.
BBC News - Burma's Aung San Suu Kyi makes landmark campaign speech

Also note, the Burmese hate the Junta at the bottom of their hearts.

I don't see any reason to worry about the Junta. Sure attack us, and then it is all goodbye to the Junta

If what you're saying is true, then why do you think Myanmar pulled back its troops and warships after we imposed warning back in 2008??
You know guys like you make it very difficult for me to even tolerate Indians, even though sometimes I don't mind giving it a shot.

I am very much sure our armed forces have their plans set and ready, only a nod from the top brass and all set to go.

However, as we speak..am sure our troops would have been mobilized by now, but off course it wont come in the news now..just like it did not come last time.

All we have to wait and watch is what move does Myanmar make.

    Cheers!!!

Till Hasina is in power Myanmar will never launch full scale attack on B'desh.... She has power full brother sitting on Delhi (Mr Singh).. By the way when the General election in there.....Or some B'desh general is playing some games.... need to dig into it.

Also by now, our navy would have been ready and kept at standby. They could have taken such move during the verdict itself, in case it comes on our side. It would be foolish to assume our media knows nothing about it..they do in fact and very well..it wont be published until they the green light from the military brass.

I hope there is no conflict but if they make any aggressive move then...

    Cheers!!!
