Dhaka, May 12 (bdnews24.com) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received a higher approval rating than her counterparts from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India and many other countries in a Gallup survey conducted in 21 Asian countries and regions in 2011.
About 77 percent of the Bangladeshis surveyed by Washington-based research group Gallup approved Hasina's job performance while 19 percent disapproved and 4 percent would not answer.
In the third year of her ruling, Hasina's approval rating ranked 7th, according to the survey results that were released on Friday.
However, the survey showed majorities in more than half of the all surveyed countries and regions approved of their chief executives, with leaders in Southeast and South Asia earning some of the highest marks in the region.
Results are based on face-to-face and telephone interviews with approximately 1,000 adults, aged 15 and more, conducted between April 5 and Dec 4, 2011.

Gee, i wonder why all the top 10 leaders' parties are somewhat fascists bar John Key. I would highly like to see the methodology used in this survey.....hell even Franklin D Roosevelt never had an approval rating of 77 percent

. If I ever become PM of BD, I'll build German Gestapo here in BD and will be most popular, reliable leader in the world
