ঢাকার মধ্যে ঘুরার জায়গা ...

ছুটিতে ঢাকায় বেড়ানো পরিবারের সবাইকে নিয়ে বেড়ানোর জন্য কোথায় যাওয়া হবে, তা ভেবে পাননা অনেকে। ঢাকার ভেতরই আছে অনেক জায়গা, যেখানে সারা দিন ধরে ঘোরা যাবে



ঢাকা চিড়িয়াখানা, মিরপুর-১

সাপ্তাহিক বন্ধ: রোববার (রোববার অন্য কোনো সরকারি ছুটি থাকলেও খোলা থাকে)। সোম থেকে শনিবার খোলা থাকে। সকাল আটটা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ছয়টা (অক্টোবর-এপ্রিল)। সকাল নয়টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ছয়টা (মে-সেপ্টেম্বর)। প্রবেশমূল্য: ১০ টাকা। ফোন: ৮০৩৫০৩৫।



জাতীয় উদ্ভিদ উদ্যান (বোটানিক্যাল গার্ডেন), মিরপুর

প্রতিদিন খোলা থাকে সকাল নয়টা থেকে বিকেল পাঁচটা (মার্চ থেকে নভেম্বর), সকাল নয়টা থেকে বিকেল সাড়ে চারটা (ডিসেম্বর থেকে ফেব্রুয়ারি)। প্রবেশ মূল্য: পাঁচ টাকা। শিশুদের জন্য দুই টাকা। ফোন: ৮০৩৩২৯২।





জাতীয় শিশুপার্ক, শাহবাগ

সাপ্তাহিক বন্ধ: রোববার। বুধবার শুধু দুস্থ ও ছিন্নমূল শিশুদের জন্য খোলা।বুধবার ছাড়া সোম থেকে শনিবার খোলা দুপুর একটা থেকে সন্ধ্যা সাতটা (অক্টোবর-মার্চ); বেলা দুইটা থেকে রাত আটটা পর্যন্ত (এপ্রিল-সেপ্টেম্বর)। প্রবেশ মূল্য: জনপ্রতি আট টাকা। প্রতিটি রাইডে চড়ার জন্য মাথাপিছু ছয় টাকার টিকিট দরকার হয়। ফোন: ৮৬২৩৩০৪





বলধা গার্ডেন, ওয়ারী

প্রতিদিন খোলা থাকে সকাল নয়টা থেকে বিকেল পাঁচটা (মার্চ-নভেম্বর), সকাল নয়টা থেকে বিকেল সাড়ে চারটা (ডিসেম্বর-ফেব্রুয়ারি)। প্রবেশ মূল্য: পাঁচ টাকা। অনূর্ধ্ব ১০ বছরের শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রবেশ মূল্য দুই টাকা। আর শিক্ষাসফরে আসা শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য প্রবেশমূল্য তিন টাকা।

সাপ্তাহিক বন্ধঃ রোববার। সোমবার খোলা থাকে বেলা দেড়টা থেকে বিকেল পাঁচটা পর্যন্ত। মঙ্গল থেকে শনিবার খোলা থাকে সকাল নয়টা থেকে বিকেল পাঁচটা (অক্টোবর থেকে মার্চ), সকাল ১০টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ছয়টা পর্যন্ত (এপ্রিল থেকে সেপ্টেম্বর)। জুমার নামাজের জন্য শুক্রবার দুপুর সাড়ে ১২টা থেকে দুইটা পর্যন্ত বন্ধ থাকে। সরকারি ছুটির দিন বন্ধ থাকে। প্রবেশমূল্যঃ জনপ্রতি ১০ টাকা; তবে বিদেশি পর্যটকদের জন্য ৫০ টাকা। ফোনঃ ৯৬৭৩০১৮



ভাসানী নভোথিয়েটার, বিজয় সরণি

সাপ্তাহিক বন্ধঃ বুধবার। প্রদর্শনী শুরু হয় প্রতিদিন বেলা ১১টা, দুপুর একটা, বেলা তিনটা ও পাঁচটায় (শনি থেকে মঙ্গল ও বৃহস্পতিবার)। শুক্রবার প্রদর্শনী সকাল ১০টা, বেলা তিনটা, বিকেল পাঁচটা ও সন্ধ্যা সাতটায়। সকালের প্রদর্শনীর এক ঘণ্টা আগে এবং অন্যান্য প্রদর্শনীর দুই ঘণ্টা আগে কাউন্টার থেকে টিকিট সংগ্রহ করা যাবে। তবে কোনো শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষাসফরের ক্ষেত্রে অগ্রিম টিকিট নেওয়ার সুযোগ আছে। সরকারি ছুটির দিন বন্ধ থাকে। টিকিটের মূল্যঃ ৫০ টাকা। ফোনঃ ৯১৩৯৫৭৭, ৯১৩৮৮৭৮

Some of us are ashamed of our pedal rickshaws, but the westerners and and the Japanese would enjoy such a ride. They usually take pictures of the back of the rickshaws with paintings of faces of film artists, although we are ashamed of this kind of painting. In reality, rickshaw is a tourist attraction.

I doubt this place is in BD though i've heard about some place in BD from where Everest can be seen but i think thats not true.

I think, it is possible to see the Everest from Saidpur and its north when the weather is clear on Himalayan top.

I am not ashamed at all. I grew up in that kind of Dhaka. I always loved those chessy banners on the Rickshaws, its part of Dhaka.
I remember seeing lot of those banners with some one holding a Trishul, and a wounded or a menacing tiger.
