DHAKA: The Thailand government is set to import manpower from Bangladesh with full sponsor.

A delegation of the Thai government signed a deal with the Ministry of Labour & Employment while their recent visit to Bangladesh, ministry sources said.

Ministry of Labour & Employment secretary Dr Jafar Ahmed Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The workers will be paid USD 400 monthly including life and health insurances.

He also said initially Bangladesh would dispatch around 1,500 workers within three to four months.
