MKI are assembled in India with Russian kits. That is not indigenous. I am not going to go over this with you. But producing a plane with foreign equipment is again, a placebo for Indians like you to feel that India is making progress rather than licensing foreign equipment for domestic assembly.

PAK FA is a PT Hence made in Russia even the 1st PT of FGFA would be made in Russia... Some what like Brahmos CM whose 1st PT were tested in Russia and the rest in India.

MKI are not assembled now but made with locally produced parts Radar in Hyderabad, Airframe in Nasik, Engine in Koraput.. Do you understand what licensed production means ?.. We cannot be Thieves and Copiers like ****** and make a J-30MKI out of it now... can we.

What else is called making a Plane when most f the tings are made locally and by Local people... Do you expect us to rename it a J-30MKI and call it our own product

PAKFA will be the raptor killer. J-20(or21,22) will be below F-35 and below Su30MKI (chinese claims notwithstanding). India + Russia together is the best combination in the world. China works alone. Cooperation and team work is the basis of success.

Why are you Indians so arrogant and believe you have somehow surpassed China?

India does not have the capability to produce the SU-30MKI. Nearly all of the essential components are produced either from direct Russian imports {engine+avionics} or with Russian kits (manufacturing equipment) {radar}. This is what license production MEANS. The Chinese didn't want this with their Su-27, and decided to "reverse-engineer" the kits rather than import them to gain domestic production capacity themselves. That is the difference between China and India.

If India could truly produce the SU-30MKI from bottom up, you would have already surpassed the Chinese and would be miles ahead of them on a 5th generation jet program. (India's "Medium Combat Aircraft" design has not even be accepted yet. Assuming it is accepted this year, that is approximately 7 years behind the Chinese which introduced a prototype 2 years ago.)

China certainly is not stripping nake to show to the world every single wires inside J-10A...that's how we keep India paranoid and supecious about Chinese military...hidding our strenght and weakness. you can alway claim that J-10A is inferior to Mig-29 until we meet in the sky...and then If you're so sure about you said...I'm wondering why your gorverment still need to shop around the world for new fighter such Rafale.

As for your LCA....it's not better because western countries have prevent "thief intention" or nicely speaking "TOT" so they've dragged their feets and delayed helping India to fully make this aircraft operation ...LCA =laugh cry aircraft compare to JF-17 which already operation and will be soon to be upgrated with more advance technologies.
