TEA and PORCELAIN (china) are the 2 pieces of great Chinese inventions that we led the world before the Opium war. the brits were heavily in unfavourable trade balances with us because they were ( and Europe as well ) hooked on them. so these wicked people sold us opium in return. We knew the harmful effects of the narcotics on humans so we refused to trade with the brits. the rest is histroy.

TEA was stolen by a brit (scot) called Robert Fortune. This was well documented in both Chinese and foreign films and literature. There are a book and a film " The tea thief " which tell you about RF's embezzlement of this precious invention and culture from us!
