    I think Tata took over Daewoo way before they acquired Jag-rover. Anyways Tata is getting bigger and bigger while our country is getting stronger and stronger.

    Mumbai Trans Harbour Sea Link Project
    (Sewree – Nhava)- Base Cost - Rs. 2,600 Cr & Completion cost - Rs. 3,500
    To improve connectivity of Mumbai to hinterland to promote housing and economic development .
    Proposed Key infrastructure projects in the area such as SEZs, airport, JNPT, Thane-Vashi Rail link to also benefit.
    Features 22 km long, 6 lane bridge; Construction period 2007 – 2013 through 100% private equity





    Mumbai Urban Infrastructure Project (MUIP)- Rs. 2,647 Cr
    To strengthen North – South corridors and East – West connectivity,
    Develop 17 high speed junction/signal free road corridors with dedicated bus lanes.

    Mumbai Urban Transport Project-I (MUTP-I)- Rs.4,526 cr.
    Investment in suburban railway projects, public bus transport, new roads, pedestrian subways and traffic management

    To develop through private participation a state-of-the-art Convention & Exhibition Centre that will be a first of its kind in the country. As Western India has no major Convention & Exhibition Centre, it is expected that this complex would meet the growing needs.

    SKYWALKS- 600 Crore+
    50+ skywalk throughout mumbai
    The Sky walk is an elevated walk way dedicated to the pedestrians connecting the rly. Station/ high concentration commercial area and destination points where concentration of pedestrians prevail.

    Iconic Tower- Rs 4,000-crore
    531-mt tall iconic tower to come up at Wadala is slated to start in October. It will be the world's seventh tallest structure with a built-up area of 60,000 lakh sq ft, the largest among such buildings in the world.

    Middle Vaitarna Dam, Water Supply Project- Rs.1, 584 Cr
    To augment the water supply to Mumbai city in order to overcome the present water shortage. –
    To tap 455 MLD of water supply to Mumbai by 2012.

    A 100-km corridor to Alibaug- Rs 12,000-crore
    A 100-km corridor, the first of its kind in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, is being planned from Virar to Alibaug.
    This Rs 12,000-crore connector will have rail and road links and motorists will be able to traverse it from end to end in one hour.
    The journey currently takes about four hours.

    The site of airport is located in an area of 1140 hectares accommodating two parallel runways for simultaneous and segregated parallel operation with provision of full-length taxiways on either side of the runways. The airfield has been designed to accommodate the new large aircrafts( A- 380) compatible to aerodrome code 4-F.





    Fun City- 5000 cr
    The theme city will feature hill walks, ropeways, adventure parks, para gliding, rock climbing, a skyride, towers, a 'kingdom' of animals, birds and insects, a lagoon of aquatic life, galleries and museums, hotels and resorts, a health spa, multiplexes, a planetarium, state-of-the art studios, music and night clubs and parks for children.
