I thought to make a thread about some Iranian food...

Zereshk Polo Morgh - rice, chicken and barberries


Tacheen - rice, chicken, garlic, yoghurt, amongst other ingredients


Ghormeh Sabzi - herb stew (all kinds of herbs mixed and also brown beans)


Fesenjan - pomegranate juice, chicken, walnuts,


Kabab Kubideh with bread


with rice...



Gheyme - Lamb, peas, etc, usually served with some fries on top.


Ashe Reshteh - Noodle soup, lots of herbs (the white cross is yogurt)

you didnt have to torture us in this time of Roza. I love kabab kubeida, ghorma sabzi is also great. iranian food is lovely and tasty.

I love Shorba(آبگوشت) when you sit there, put small peices of bread in Shorba, break raw onions with your fist and eat it with shorba. this is so delicious.

the main difference between foods in iran(also afghanistan) and indian food is its spice. iranian food is spice free while indian food is all about spice.
