India wrong to blame Pakistan as terrorist sponsoring state: Poll

Saturday August 12, 04:15 PM

Islamabad, Aug.12 (ANI): An overwhelming 89 percent of Pakistanis polled have said that India is wrong in accusing Pakistan of state-sponsored terrorism.

According to the Daily Times, a poll carried out jointly by Indias Outlook magazine and Gallup-Business Research Bureau, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International, also found that 76 percent thought that resolution of the Kashmir issue was necessary for peaceful relation between the two countries.
Seventy percent were convinced that India would never part with Kashmir, while only 36 percent thought that issue could be resolved in their lifetime, the poll said.

Most Pakistanis are willing to accept the conversion of the Line of Control into an international border as a solution to the Kashmir problem. The figure had swelled to 41 percent from 29 percent in 2003, when the Gallup-Outlook team last conducted the poll.

Sixty percent of the Pakistanis polled also thought that ties between India and Pakistan have improved under Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Fifty-five percent of the people polled felt that the people-to-people contact between the two countries had helped improve bilateral relations.
Fifty-three percent Pakistanis still regarded India as the 'enemy'.(ANI)

You don't need a poll for that. Just use common sense.

Public opinion counts, reflects the sentiment in both countries.
Its interesting that a joint poll has been conducted, I've never seen anything like this before.
