You will not find them here but in Arundhoti thread only. lol

    Here is the source.....

Ministry of Defence Annual Report 2009/2010
    http://mod.nic.in/reports/AR-eng-2010.pdf

Medium Power Radar (MPR) & Low Level Transportable Radars (LLTR) : DRDO has started design & development of these 4D (range; direction; height & doppler velocity) Radars required by the IAF for Air Surveillance. These Radars will use many state of the art technologies including advanced Active Array technology & Digital Beam Forming. Initially 8 indigenous MPRs and 18 numbers of LLTRs will be inducted by the Indian Air Force.

Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar : For Tejas and other fighter Aircraft, DRDO has started development of Airborne Active Array Radar in X Band. This high end technology based Radar will be of unprecedented reliability and superior performance compared to mechanically rotating Weapon Control Radar.

Arudhra is a spin-off of LRTR. It borrows many of the sub-systems from LRTR family including the new Swordfish.
Its official detection range can be anywhere over 500km and can track over 400km. The range is kept low in the media to not create a big fuss about it. Lol..... It can track upto pakistans western border .....

Though some reports mentioned that the range is 300+ or 350 km etc but I personally think it is around 400-450 km.

Major PAF base Msroor as well as Faisal will come under its range. It should cover Karachi as well.

THANX to the power infinity dear Kinetic.Good for us that the pakirtanis are not here.
By the way I am eagerly waiting for the LRTR MK2 with 1600 km max tracking range for a cricket ball sized target,2 such radars can track vertually all of pakistan and will most probably feature high electronic attack capability.
Secondly the DRDO AWACS with a tracking range of 194 nm against a 2 m2 target and will be equivalent to PAF ERI EYE.It will be capable of pencil beam in 1 degree ajimuth and a degree elivation.

I will be the happiest person if it is a 400-500 km system. But I think it is not a spin of of LRTR Swordfish as the Arudhra is X band radar but LRTR is L band.I may be wrong though.Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, its not spin off of LRTR but its I do not know if it is X-band or not. The X-band AESA is for LCA.

Kinetic bro some time back there was talk of radars (i think y band or some thing) with ranges more than 2000 -4000 kms detection range being developed or bought from (Russia may be). Do u have any news on this.

On topic i am really happy for this development and this shows the Aesa for LCA is well on its way. Don't you think??
