Yes I agree with you that India has lost the appetite for forging close ties with Pakistan post 26/11; however, I feel that solving Kashmir as soon as possible will help India in long run. Converting LOC to IB with greater autonomy to Kashmir Valley and a guarantee to Pakistan on uninterrupted waters is a good solution. It is time India detach itself from Pakistan; Kashmir is binding us.
If that is the case the world would have some 2000 nations instead of the present 200.
Welcome to Reality.
Agreed with that. I'm saying the BJP is only reminding the Congress, you would have to commit suicide if you compromise on Kashmir.
Though I would like to add if BJP demands that P0K be taken back to India then I dont agree not because I dont like it, but because it is practically infeasible.

Did you refer to me as a congressie (whatever that means)?I owe my loyalty only to India, not to any party! My stand on any issue is based purely on the merits (as I see it) of the subject in question. I don't give my support to a party & then think up an excuse for them. I prefer to go with who I feel is right.
Btw, your comments about democracy are silly. That is exactly how it works. The 51% ( actually just the party in power, since 51% is not necessary) are the only ones who are constitutionally authorised to govern, the 49% will have to wait for the next election. The rest of your comments are just foolish banter since even non congress states would not have given 100% of the votes for their respective governments. What next? Partition & divorce in families because they vote different?![]()

I think the pending plebiscite is still possible if both parties show some flexibility. Opinion of the Kashmiries is more important than that of fanboys from both sides. There should be separate election in - Kashmir valley, Ladakh, Jammu and Northern areas. How the problems of Hindu communities ousted from the valley will be solved is an important question. We expect some flexibility from both sides for the peace in the region. Because, stubbornness will only keep Kashmir as a white elephant for both parties .
[QUOTE=tallboy123;1883471]Hehehe one family??in dreams???
Any one Pakistani or Indian goes near the border...u ll only get Bullet..
And the same applies inside each others country...
And so what? Its our problem we will need to sort it and will. You forgotton about Mahabharat
Its the same kashmiris who crushed the human values and chased kashmiri pandits out of kashmir tieing up with the terrorists accross the border. Killed the pandits in there home, captured there home, shops businesses, demolished there worship places. Chased the rest of them out of kashmir and made them live the life of refugee. Ask the pandits how do they feel to live like this anywhere in india.
Kashmiris have lost there right to cry about human rights after what they have done to there own fellow kashmiri pandits.
I am soo sad that Pakistan's position regarding Kashmir is becomming weak & defensive & i'am afraid India will swallow Pakistani territory same like Junagadh-Manavadar & Hyderabad Deccan. It is because of 2 reasons that Pakistan stand is becomming weak, one is polititions are more interested for friendship with India,(i'am not against friendship with India but core issues shan't be put behind or sell out due to friendship, today they are occupying J&K, tomorrow they will demand for AJK, than G&B & so on).
The second reason & very big reason is obviously terrorism in Pakistan, because of terrorism Pakistan focus had been distracted from that important issue, another loss because of terrorism is that many of the Kashmiris are being made fool by Indian media who shows each & every news with mirch masala and therefore now many of them want Indepandance from India but not a merger with Pakistan, one more loss due to terrorism is that our economy is in very bad condition, alot of foriegn companies have been closed plus very little or no further foriegn investment coming.
Kashmir is a jugular vein of Pakistan, Pakistan will always be threaten until Kashmir is occupied, either Kashmir becomes indepandant sovereign country otherwise it must become part of Pakistan, Pakistani leaders must agree on nothing less than this & not become defensive on this main issue.

Its sad to see people with views and opinions like yourself that more families from both side of the border will cry tears of blood at the loss of loved ones.
Its time for change.....Stop the historical hatred and twisted ideologies. We can resolve with the people power. Change your way of thinking and lets get on with each others differences and we can start concentrating on humanitarian needs
