Bhubaneshwar, India: India on Sunday successfully tested a nuclear-capable missile fired from a mobile launcher in the eastern coastal state of Orissa, a defence ministry official said. The test of the Prithvi-1 (Earth) missile took place at the Chandipur-on-Sea test site, said the official, who declined to be named.

The missile has a range of 250 kilometres (190 miles) and can carry conventional or low-yield nuclear warheads.
Nuclear-capable India and Pakistan, who have fought three wars, routinely carry out missile tests and normally notify each other in advance under an agreement.
The 8.5-metre (28-foot) surface-to-surface missile, first tested in February 1988, is under trials before its induction into the army's arsenal, other defence officials said. The missile was last tested last year.
It is designed for battlefield use against troops or armoured formations. Two other variants of the Prithvi, with a strike range of between 250 and 350 kilometres, will be handed over to the navy and air force once tests are completed.

They are not suffering from any thing, who told yeah, its called day dreaming dude.

Again China, what ever SLV they need but infact they already have started developing their own. There have been some new contracts signed by both nations lately. theyhavnt eloborate them fully yet, but one of them was to develope a SLV.

I guess Neo has made a post somewhere stating the reasons why it would not be such a good thing to operationalize a missile that can easily reach Israel.

If you really have the technology to make such amazing missiles at such great speed then you certainly do have the technology to make a simple SLV.

However, we see that you're still trying to make a rocket that can put a thing in orbit.

Why do we need to target israel directly in the first place they arnt a threat but they might possibly be a future threat along with the US (very unlikely but still likely to happen)

And Pakistan is known to have the Ghauri 3 and shaheen 3 but are just waiting for india to test its missiles first as usual since pakistan will have a reason for testing its missiles
