Default Impact of turkish Neo - Otoman foreign Policyand it's Effects on India

During the last recent Years Turkey has increased it's political and Economic Influence on Central Asian Countries and works also Active together with Afghanistan and Pakistan. I also Expect some Defence Deals with it's Central Asian Brothers States. In long Term I see the possibility that under turkish Leadership a Politic and Economic Union which Include Eurasian States as well Afghanistan and Pakistan could be established, with the Consequence of a commom Defence Cooperation could be established.

The Indian know from the Past that the Subcontinent were often Invaded by Turkic Empererors, do indians fear Negative Effects for Indian Influence if Turkey increase the Cooperation between eurasian States ?

We look at the Turkics in Central Asia and Turkish(Anatolians) in Turkey as two completely different people. So I really dont know what those early Turkic invaders have to do with Turkey..

India has good relations with Central Asian nations. And I don't see how Turkeys influence can necessarily be a bad thing...

we Indians see Turkey as most progressive, liberal and moderate nation in the entire middle East. If they want to create influence in Central Asia, for that they have to tackle Russia and China instead of India because Turkey is the member of Nato.

Umm, I think I'll venture a clear and concise answer. No, we do not anticipate a turkish imperial invasion of India in the foreseeable future. In the unlikely event of an attempted turkish invasion of India, we are confident that the 1.3 million+ active duty soldiers will be able to defend the country. So distant memories of turkish invaders from the middle ages do not really have any impact of our present day concerns, just as China and EU today are not unduly worried about mongolia because of memories of genghis khan.

What kind of relations should we share with turkey and central asian countries can be discussed without this reminder about ancient or medieval invaders. No need to dwell on those if your intention is to discuss economic and political scenarios of the present and future. And at this point there is really no serious need to contemplate the consequences of turkey's defence cooperations with its neighbours, unless any credible threat of such a military block appears even on paper, as opposed to people's fanciful imaginations.

As of today, militarily turkey is very much a part of NATO, and it will be some time before if forms a military block with afghanistan or pakistan. So as of now, the topic of this discussion seems too much to be in the hypothetical realm.

First of, Turkish Emperors who invaded India has made inroads to certain areas. Other parts of India were never affected by such incursions. Secondly, when it comes to Muslim brotherhood, some Turkish Emperors have shown they did not give a damn. When Tipu was battling the British, he sent an envoy to the Ottoman Empire to get help in the from of weapons and ships. The response from the Turks wa silence.

As for the rest of your question, do Turks fear Mongols, Romans and Greeks who invaded and subdued at one time? I would say the answer is no and its the same for India and Indians. No fear becoz the US has Turkey on its leash. So, your support is a good thing.
