im certain it launched but failed to complete its objective.
im not so sure it is an ICBM.

indians are known to boast even when they fail like the commonwealth games, so until we get real confirmation that the missile didnt veer off course or explode, i will take the indian media and government report with a grain of salt.

im highly skeptical of this, pretty sure things went wrong but india is covering it up to avoid humiliation like what happened in the commonwealth games.

At about 30 seconds, the cameraman points the camera at a point in the sky, but the missile doesn't go to that point, instead the missile unexpectedly takes a turn toward the ground, and you can see the cameraman get confused "why is the missile going down instead of up."

And you can see the missile is no longer flying away from the camera from 45 seconds onwards. Instead it is moving perpendicular toward the ground.

Every time there is a failure, there is a setback, there is a teething problem from any of these projects. You're 99% of the time hearing it from India, but when it's a success, it's to hard to digest.

Get used to this feeling, because while you do nothing in the next 10-20 years, India will be accelerating faster.
