Bcoz, Russa need china to recover his economy, and aslo need china to support her on world major issue in UN, and Russa need cooperation from china to against US and etc... I think the most possible action of Russa is stay on neutral, aslo claiming something like "china and india should control their mood, stop war immediately and bla bla bla." If there is a war, it would be a war between only india and china, no third party can be considered.
Iam sorry, I will have to pull the chain.... Russia is one among the top 5 growing economies, and Russia would help India more than it would to china, the bilateral trade between India and China is to reach 10b$ in 2010 alone... And As far as the us is concerned, No matter Russia support China or not, your stand on USA will not change nor will theirs... And True if there is war, China and India will be facing it....
let's see who will be the winner, if there will be a indo-china war:
now :
Russia + China VS US
(india is watching )
after the indo-china war
a) Russia + China VS US + India
b) Russia + India VS US + China
c) Russia VS US (both China and India got lost)
clear? a or b or c, US will be winning, and the rest of all will be the loser.
I think we need to be more realistic, Russia will never go against its best ally. The Russo-Indian relationship was like China and Pakistans is now, it's evolved a bit now with India taking a bigger role, but the fact is that there is as much chance as Russia not supporting India as China not supporting Pakistan during any war. Russia might not invade or declare war on us too, but they will support India diplomatically etc. That's not taking into account the US and Europe, who will be on India's side as well.
There is no future of a belligerent Sino-Indian relationship, accept it everyone.
The title of the thread is exaggerated ... a LOT
I mean common, its just the opinion of an analyst you made it sound as if Chinese government made this statement
China would bomb India back to the stone age.
