PAKISTAN: Police severed a young man's penis during torture

The Asian Human Rights Commission has received information about a horrific case in which a 24-year-old young man, Mr. Hazoor Buksh Malik, was severely assaulted on his penis while being tortured by the Station Head Officer (SHO) of the Market police station in Larkana District, Sindh Province, Pakistan, on 25 January 2007. The victim had been arrested by the Market police on the charges of being without his national identity card on January 22. The victim is now warded in a hospital under police custody. It is alleged that police officers of Larkana District are threatening the victim, demanding him to change the story of the incident before the inquiry committee and claim that he severed his own penis in an attempt to commit suicide. Meanwhile, the police also filed an attempted suicide case against the victim to cover up the incident. The victim's genitals are being kept in the store room of the Market police station allegedly for further investigation. The local people, however, claim that the police is doing so in order to demonstrate its terror and instill fear in the people.

It was just one example. Just watch "AAJ TAk" TV Channel and you will see the real face of Indian society. Horrible. The society is going towards cultural anarchy and wandering in darkness since strayed from the right path (Sirat-e-Mustaqim) and praying each and every creature (even ****** parts of human being).
May Allah save us all from this social and cultural as well as religious degradation.

is it the case in Bihar? He has been suspended dont worry. issue has been politicized as well, Bihar was a inhuman place a decade vack with dacoits moving freely under laloo government, nitish is bringing it back on track. It was one of BIMARU states which Bihar leaded as one of Indias least prosporous state. there used to be literally gangas and thugs killing et al police nexuss and all sort of during laloos government.

ababeel, only unhealthy/mentally retarded person watches aaj tak, they manipulate illiterate minds with all sort of ghost stories, sex stotries, clearly remember the murder related to orkut was flashed for whole day in aaj tak, to spice up things chick flash was common.

Omg that is extremely barbaric! And yes, Pakistanis shouldn't be gloating because our own police isn't much better. Extreme torture is used by the police in our country too depending on the suspects crime. But I don't think I've ever heard of the police doing something like that in public.
