Israeli radar for Indian Navy


New Delhi, Jan 3: Sophisticated Israeli counter electronic equipment and radar systems would soon be installed on board new Indian naval warships.

The way for joint production of such systems within India could be paved during Naval Chief Admiral Sureesh Mehta's visit to Tel Aviv beginning tomorrow.

Mehta's four-day visit comes close on the heels of a tour here by a top-level Israeli defence team headed by the country's Director General of the Ministry of Defence Brig Gen Pinchas Buchris.

During his stay in Tel Aviv, Mehta will hold talks with his Israeli counterpart Vice Admiral David Ben Bashat and also call on the Israeli Defence Minister. He will also visit some key defence industries. (Agencies)

Which radar is teh newspaper talking about, MFSTAR?

I think now even slight sneeze in relation to indian defence is being used to be reported by journlist.

Yeah but Indian media is rightly called the DDM in BRF. They dont know anything yet they keep on reporting.

For instance, and i dont know whether this news pertained to the MFSTAR. But for P-15A, the MF-STAR has been the long decided radar.
