I dont think Azerbaijan will grant a military airbase next to Iran border to Israel..But, if they give, there must be a reason for it..They wouldnt want to provoke Iran without a reason..

There is no under the table nonsense here. Israel-Azerbaijan relations have eclipsed relations with most other countries.
1.6 billion contract has just been signed with them, to sell them advanced weapons.

The interest here, is their mistrust of the Ayatollah regime using their land as a terror hub, trying to steer up Islamist movements in Azerbaijan.
Let's not forget South Azerbaijan, that has 14 million Azerbaijanis under Iranian rule.

It might be a risky move but dont think it's about Iran, they are doing this to counter the Armenians. They grant access to Israelis and in return they get weapons, training and maybe more. Besides Iran always supported Armenia anyway Azerbaijan just doing the same back now....
