Iranian agents arrested with explosives planned to attack US, British, Israelis in Kenya

Nairobi, July 3 (ANI): Two Iranian agents, who were arrested with explosives, had planned to attack American, British, Israeli people in Kenya, officials have claimed.
According to The Telegraph, officials said that the plot appeared to be another attempt by Iranian agents against Israeli interests.
Ahmad Abolfathi Mohammad and Sayed Mansour Mousavi were last week with 33 pounds of RDX in the coastal city of Mombasa.
An official said the Iranians are members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Quds Force, an elite and secretive unit.
Investigators believe that if the Iranian plot had been successful, suspicion would have naturally fallen not on Iran, but instead on the Al-Qaeda-linked Somali militant group al-Shabab.
Al-Shabab has threatened to bring Nairobi's skyscrapers following Kenya's military push into Somalia last year.
Militants, most likely from Somalia, have pulled off small-scale attacks in Kenya in the last year, including kidnappings, grenade attacks and a bombing in downtown Nairobi that peeled back the roof of a building. (ANI)

Well, to be honest. It looks like the Quds force wants desperately to claim a successful operation and makes errors while doing it. The recent incidents in Thailand, India, Azerbaijan and now Kenya prove this. The Qods force was quite successful and professional before al these incidents, but the latest actions are stains on their reputation. I think behind the screens the men who led this operations will be taking responsible for al these errors.

That could be the case before Iranian scientists were assassinated and arm depots in Iran mysteriously exploded, but it seems to me that the Quds force is being pressured by high-raking officials to led successful counterattacks. And in my opinion its because of this pressure errors are being made.

It could still be the case. That's never how the Quds force operates. Also, Kenya can't do the simplest intel. operations to maintain security in their own country, let alone neutralizing Quds force operations.

Quds forces counter attack won't be planting bombs in Israeli, British or US embassies in an African country for sure.

Also, Thomas, don't tell me that someone who carries the title of a professional doesn't know that Quds forces don't do bomb planting operations. Their job is something different. They support militias like Hizbullah that are backed by Iran in the region, they give military and intelligence trainings and information. They don't plant bombs. I don't know why the foreign media have become too obsessed with the name 'Quds forces' recently.

Quds force is similar to US Army Special Forces in that thier primary focus is training and equiping others to fight. But there is a secondary mission with US Army Special Forces that is more about direct action. This gives more direct control over a mission then you have when using proxies. Since Iran doesn't really have the equivelant of Seal Teams I can see them using Quds instead. Not having to use proxies gives more OPSEC (operational security) and turn around time for the mission as well.

Its just propaganda. How did previous "Iran's bombing" investigations going? After much media bashing in the West, all those are long forgotten, and even after all this time no connection to Iran's government was ever found.
