Salam,

I am a US citizen a true Pakistani in the heart. I would like some information about how i could go about joining the Pakistani Navy. Can someone please help.

Not completely sure but unless you plan on relinquishing your American citizenship. You can't join the military of another country. You might want to check on that first. Then again you could join and the U.S. might never find out. Chances are though with the scrutinizing of Americans that travel to Pakistan they would.

Thomas is correct.You will have to surrender your US Citizenship before you enter Pakistan Navy.You can't join Armed Forces with dual citizenship due to security and other issues.You must be a Pakistani Citizen to be part of Pakistan Armed Forces.

He can retain his dual nationality during the period of training at the academy i.e. he gets recommended from ISSB, joins the Naval Academy and starts the training, but the day he would get commissioned, he has to relinquish the other one before that.

Most true. Same case with Army and Air Force. Becase in case you may not be able to complete your training you may be able to go back to your priviliged state

You can't join Pakistan navy with dual nationality. You'll have to quit American Nationality before joining Naval forces of Pakistan.

I am not sure but the short service commision tag is removed from your profile once you make a 19 grade officier other wise even in SSC officier gets equal opportunities.!
