Pak troops violate ceasefire, target Indian posts along LoC

Poonch: In yet another ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistani troops today fired rocket-propelled grenades and opened fire from Medium Machine Guns (MMGs) and small arms on Indian posts in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire. They fired RPGs and opened MMG and small arms firing on 3 Indian forward posts in Krishna Gati sub-sector in Poonch district," a senior Army Officer of 16 Corps said.

The RPGs coupled with small, medium arms firing was targetted at the Indian posts of Kranti, Ravi and Nangi from Pakistan's posts of Peepal, Pattal, Daku and Burji by 653 Mujahideen Regiment of Pakistan.

They fired 12 PRGs, over 500 rounds Medium Machine Gun beside small arms firing from 1525 to 1600 hours, the officer said adding the Indian troops fired back but refrained from using heavy firing.

The firing later stopped, he said adding the Indian Army, using the hoteline, has registered a strong protest with its Pakistani counterpart over the ceasefire violation.

Pakistan had violated ceasefire and fired on Indian positions in Poonch on April 22 and 24.

Why even report this $hit anymore, it is almost a daily occurrence. I doubt anyone other than a few guys on the web care anymore, the stupid, impotent, nepotist, cowardly,sleazy,corrupt,selfish,retarded political scum that run India value the life of an Indian army soldier as little as we do their's ( politicians).

They should be put on the LoC to face the barrel of enemy guns, they should have to live with sub-standard equipment in the most inhospitable conditions imaginable.

100s of heroic soldier/pilot/sailor die and they get little more than a 15 second bulletin in the daily news, 1 of these SCUM die and there is a national holiday, they are buried in lavious luxury and have airports and schools and hospitals named after them. For some they can't even wait until their dead to build dozens of statues of themselves and draw up plans to create a dedicated police force to protect them whilst the average citizen is left to fend for themselves with crime rates ever increasing. And THEY (common citizen) have to pay for out of their own pocket so some moron with an ego the size of the moon can have their face wherever they look. These politicians would rather build monuments to themselves to be remembered then build a legacy of growth and prosperity for everyone to be remembered by.

But the sad truth is I/we can rant and rave as much as we like but those BA$TARDS will remain in place only to be replaced by equally useless human beings and nothing will change.

Guys are you sure that these are actualy Pakistani forces who are doing this??
I mean after witnessing their pathetic performance in ''TRACING OSAMA'' and their Duplicate Chinese and Bugged American Equipments, which could not pick up 2 BIG choppers I don't feel that they have potential to voilate cease fire. Indian Army is lying

It could be American Army who might be firing from Helicopters or Drone. Need to set up inquiry for that.
