    i dont have any antivirus installed however a combo of
    TuneUp Utilities ,Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware might be the lightest softwares that keep my 3.5 years old windows running!

    any advice on some new replacement software?

    i take pangey with my windows and installed within weeks some time.
    no 7 is very stable . installed after an year.

    xp is good for gaming experience because it need less processor and ram
    win7 is best for internet surfing
    but i m using both wins
    xp for games and 7 for other purposes
