It seems there is a certain Christian influence in this wedding. AFAIK Tamil brides don't wear veils and both bride and groom sit on the ground along with the priest during the marriage ceremony and the 'Tali' is gold pendenant on a yellow thread. Putting 'Sindoor' is also missing & cutting cakes is unheard of.

This is not like Tamils marriage and it look like north Indian type marriage . And that marriage look like a party I means reality is missing and no crowd at all . oh... I forgot that SL army killed most of them.
