Magnificent statue of the reddish brown eagle majestically poised for flight.

Pantai Tengah is about 500 metres south of Cenang Beach.

Unlike straight bridges where you can see from the starting point, Langkawi Sky Bridge has been curved to provide different perspectives over the land and sea. Convenient triangular platforms located along the curved bridge provide rest areas so you can sit and appreciate both the beauty of nature and an incredible feat of engineering.

    Rabzon thanked this.

MARMARIS IN Turkey is the place Aegean and Mediterranean Seas meet there. It boasts the biggest natural harbors around the world, and is situate at the top of a peninsula on the attractive Turquoise shore. Two of the most important fascination in Marmaris is this site about central among the cities of Izmir and Alanya and its propinquity to all the islands, bay, and inlet of two countries.

NATO supplies through Torkham border crossing into Afghanistan resumed Sunday, 11 days after Islamabad closed the point in response to a deadly NATO air attack, officials said.

"The first convoy of more than a dozen vehicles left for Afghanistan this afternoon," customs official Mohammad Nawaz told AFP.

More vehicles loaded with supplies for NATO and US troops were ready to leave, he added. Foreign ministry on Saturday announced the reopening of the main land route for NATO supplies "with immediate effect".

The decision came after US ambassador to Pakistan Anne Patterson on Wednesday apologised on behalf of the American people for the "terrible accident".

Jonathan Woods says: Can you imagine waiting more than 40 years to get a photo just right? That's precisely what New York photographer Jay Fine did to capture the images above.
And Fine's teenage dream came true on the evening of Sept. 22, when he headed down to lower Manhattan's Battery Park, which has a nice view of the Statue of Liberty.
With his Nikon D300 and 60mm f2.8 lens in hand, the 58-year-old snapped more than 80 photos over two hours. He struck gold with the above photo around 8:45 p.m.
"I had been watching weather reports so I knew a storm was coming and it just seemed like a great opportunity," he told the U.K.'s Daily Mail. "It was pure luck really, a once in a lifetime opportunity."

Rabzon, Omar1984, S.U.R.B. and 3 others thanked this.
