Hey everyone,

I've been on this forum for quite a while now, but I never registered. (my mistake).
I read articles, follow discussions, and just try and be up to date with the latest headlines regarding the world and my beloved country Pakistan.

I'll most likely be the one asking questions around here all the time, (still gotta learn alot), and that's also one of the reasons I registered.

Let me introduce myself:

My name is Faheem Ali, 17 years old (18 soon), just an average teenager living in the Netherlands, i'm really interested in world affairs, especially when military force is involved, and I'm also interested in political problems etc.
(I discovered these interests when I spent alot of times surfing around in this forum)

But enough about that, I could go on and write a whole essay as to why I like this forum and admire its members because of their knowledge about Pakistan, and other parts of the world.
(I'm not kissing ***** here, I seriously learned ALOT from the people who post here, it made me a brighter person, especially when it comes to Pakistani and Indian relations).

Anyways, so I am patriotic (blame my family ), I love my country, and I hope that Pakistan will inshallah prosper & conquer its enemies and its goals.

My English excellent? I'm honored with that.
But I think i'm still average when it comes to the English language and vocabulary, I still have trouble speaking fluently and also have a hard time making decent sentences in English.
But that's something I can learn with my stay at Defence.pk
I think I learned alot of English by simply watching TV and movies.
I'm definitely fluent in Dutch, my German is quite weak, I can fully understand Urdu, but when it comes to speaking, people have a hard time understanding me .

My best Pakistani language would be Hindku, which is a dialect and a mix between Urdu and Punjabi if i'm correct.
My parents speak Pashto, Urdu, Hindku and Punjabi fluently, heck, they even speak pashto with eachother when i'm around if they don't want me to understand what they're saying!

Haha ik had al een vermoeden dat je Nederlands sprak Neo, ik zag het aan de vlag onder je naam.
Ik weet niet of m'n Pakistaanse vrienden even geïnteresseerd zijn in politiek / pakistan als ik zelf, maar ik zal het proberen hahaha

Where I live, I don't think anyone goes by the name Faheem.

Well, I am quite impressed with your language abilities. As for English, just read the many posts here (ignoring the native English speakers, like me). You will see that already, at age 17, and with English being your 5th or 6th language, you are doing very, very well.

I'm gonna need English for my study and for the rest of my future, as i'm not planning to work in the netherlands my whole life (after i'm done with my study ofcourse).
