Hello. My name is Glyn Owen, and I live in Cornwall, UK. I am almost certainly much older than most of you, as I am 66 years of age. I spent a full career in the British forces. After college I joined the RAF and trained as a pilot. Did tours on Hunter day fighters and Javelin night fighters. I transferred to the Army when I could see I would end up flying a desk if I remained in the RAF. I served on tanks, and was then able to join the Army Air Corps, mostly on helicopters. I consider myself very lucky to have travelled widely, and to have seen the beauty of the earth from above. On retiring from the services I became an antiques dealer in my home town of Penzance. I am now fully retired (hooray!). I hope that there are other aviators on the forum to chat to (my lies improve with each telling!). Looking forward to a long stay on this forum, which seems very well produced and moderate.

haammm, so you are grand father of this forum btw maybe u r still the oldest on record as glyn was last active in august 2008
