Egypt allows Palestinians entry without permits: AP

As of Monday, Palestinians are allowed permit-free entry into Egyptian land, according to the Associated Press, but no formal announcement issued by the government

Egyptian Airport officials say that Egypt has started allowing Palestinians free entry into the country, ending part of a five-year blockade on the Gaza Strip.

The decision means Palestinians can freely leave Gaza. It also applies to Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The blockade was imposed by Israel after Hamas took control of Gaza in 2007. The blockade banned most Palestinians from leaving and caused widespread hardship.

The officials said the decision was applied early Monday for the first time, when seven Palestinians waiting at Cairo International Airport were allowed into Egypt without the usual security clearances and visas. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief reporters.

No formal announcement was made.

Yes...

Is it Hamas that bombs residential areas with F-16s and artillery and then blockades the supply of construction equipment and machinery to even rebuild those homes.

And when unarmed civilian ships come with critical food supplies and medicine, they bomb the ships and kill civilians and then refuse to even apologise because it "makes them look weak".

They have a history of attacking unarmed targets. You should research the USS Liberty incident where the US sent an unarmed signals intelligence gathering naval ship to help Israel when they were fighting the Arabs. And Israel, being a grateful ally, bombed and tried to sink that ship using weapons the US had supplied, and make it look like the Egyptians had done it. The ship didn't sink after over an hour of bombing, and Israel made the ridiculous claim that they'd "accidently" shot at the ship, and the US promptly did a cover-up(something USS Liberty sailors petition the US government to come clean on, to this date).

And what about their surreptitious support propping Kurds against Turkey, their involvement in the Mumbai blasts. They are as vicious towards their allies as they are towards enemies. A true opportunist terrorist state.
