    Lightbulb Pakistani Troops in Africa

Pakistan one of the largest contributors to the UN peacekeeping force, was involved with the United Nation's peacekeeping mission in Somalia.

I present some pictures of our soldiers in a foreign land, Africa.

"Pakistani soldiers and Somali men at a security checkpoint at Mogadishu airport. On the far left are some American soldiers. On the top right you can see the wheel of a destroyed artillery piece."

"The first deployment of UN peacekeepers from Pakistan arrive in Kachele, in the north eastern region of Ituri, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 11 October 2003. . Pakistan 25 May 2007 denied "preposterous" allegations that its troops deployed with the UN in the Democratic Republic of Congo had traded gold and weapons with militia groups."

We all know about our troops fighting the Taliban and serving Pakistan, but let's never forget all the troops fighting abroad, they are Pakistan's dedication and contribution to World security and peace.

"Group of IDPs flee to escape fighting between Congolese army and rebel troops in North Kivu31 October 2008 – Top United Nations officials today voiced deep concern over the plight of the hundreds of thousands of civilians caught up in the deadly fighting in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and appealed to all sides to ensure their safety. As many as 250,000 Congolese have been uprooted from their homes since August as a result of the fighting between Congolese armed forces (FARDC)..."

Most likely Pakistani troops but I cannot confirm.

United Nations peacekeepers escorting a small convoy of relief supplies for displaced people and goods destined for UN troops cross paths with rebels troops loyal to Laurent Nkunda's rebel movement Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, near Rutshuru, some 80 kilometers north of Goma in eastern Congo.

A very interesting collection of picture of Pakistani troops in Africa.

Bangladesh is largest supplier for troops in UN peacekeeping missions . After that its India and Pakistan i guess amongst others . 1st world countries throw money and 3rd world countries throw lives . Maybe one day when will not be so poor we will not have to sacrifice troops for foreign lands .
