I completely agree, you should have posted the Indian Commandos training and promotional video rather than play them down because of your love for the Pak SSGs. Be fair in comparisons.

Parts of the Pak SSG Video were reverse played (i.e. they reverse a normal forward playing part and then use it in this way) like the reverse flip stand from the ground and the jump ups on the cliff. When you play those in normal order it isnt that much impressive.

As for the level of skill and training both the Pak SSGs and Indian commandos are well elite trained Corps. However the best of abilities comes from battlefield achievement and in that field, from independent military history sources the Indian Commandos have out performed the Pak SSGs in the Indo-Pak wars and skirmishes.

As for me, I say hats off to both of them.

For one thing we are known to fight to the death but in defence of india Lal Musjid took us by suprise like the attack in india did to them.

Just one more note though Pakistan did an excellent job when the police station was taken over. Either way Pakistan and India took out those BASTARDS that dare call themselves Muslims yet kill innocent people so all in all good job to both

A sweeping , generic remark.

Couple of things .. assuming that this loose remark is ok - there are muslims in the IA too. There are squadrons of Musilm troops in Armoured Regiments & Infantry batallions. They perform as well as any other.

Experience / performance of the LTTE, Vietnamese & other similar people has taught militaries the world over to move away from such self satisfying ( & often defeating) assumptions.
