first few coats of colours after priming.
White sprayed, masks cut and added to the airframe, Gunze 66 (bright green) sprayed, masks removed.


I used the kit's decals for the stars as the small ones were way too small to even cut properly.
Surprisingly they were rather opaque. I handbrushed Future over the yellow stars to help them settle in without silvering.

hi! my kit will be arriving in a couple of weeks .. so i was surfing the net to find the decals and paints options and methods [which ive never done yet] secondly i wanted to post the methods employed by foreigners who have made our jf17 -- just to show how satisfying this hobby can be!

i hope this thread is ultimately taken over by pak. posters , as of now , not a single picture in this thread [of jf17] is by a pak. member

ive myself built multiple f15, f16,su27,mig21,and several navy aircrafts-- however they are not painted or in a uniform scale.. as i started this hobby in 7th grade , so i made any kit i could get my hands on!

the chinese toy industery came up with the j20 kit in 2 weeks of the first public flight-- that was fast!


i think people are buying jft as it involves some interesting intricate details like the stars/crescent and dual paintings
