    A constitutional amendment would be required to make that happen.

    The most that could be done is there should be a provision of immediate action to a defensive degree but to launch offence consultancy has to remain a compulsion. Zardari B**** will not remain president for ever so think in terms of departments and not people.

    What's the deal in the title. Kiyani or for that matter any general during the time of his office in Pakistan is anyway the supremestest commander!

    I think instead of COAS the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee should be made the supreme commander of Armed Forces.
