MINGORA: Leaders who say they will change the current situation in just 90 days are liars, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a rally in Mingora, Swat, Nawaz said the people who make such claims either have no experience in politics nor have any expertise.

“PML-N will change things here and serve the people as it has done in the past,” he stressed.
Criticising the incumbent Pakistan Peoples Party-led government, the PML-N chief said that the people had not voted them into power to create trouble for the country.

“Everyone can see what has happened to Pakistan under their leadership,” he said pointedly.
He also added that despite PPP’s arrogance, their prime minister had to go home in the end.

Defending against accusations levelled against the PML-N of being a friendly opposition to the PPP, Nawaz said his party has only focused on serving the people and ignored allegations.

Addressing youngsters present in the rally, Nawaz said that there are some politicians who are trying to hijack the youth.

“The young people are aware of the fact that who is honest to Pakistan and who will serve the country better,” he said, adding that PML-N during its days in power brought great pride to the green passport.

PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, while speaking to the rally, too criticised Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan without taking his name.

“Those who talk about tsunami all the time are not aware of real politics,” he said, adding that Imran always talk about cricket but he does not know that politics is about serving people and not about ‘bowling politicians out’.

Nisar said that Nawaz is the only leader who does not make hollow statements and honours his promises.

“During Nawaz’s tenure, Pakistan was progressing at a rate faster than any other country in the region,” he reminded the rally.

90 days is too long a time,,, things can be changed in much less time, Leaders can arrange payments for IPPs in few days & there we go short-term solution for power-outages... Long-term reforms will be done while short-term coverage is there...Tapping solar & wind & coal energy would be quicker than hydral... Money for short-term steps can be arranged IMMEDIATELY just by cutting the luxurious expenditures of politicians & ministers etc...

ALL honest ppl in cabinet,,, a stubborn LEADER leading em,,, higher level corruption down to ZERO in a jiffy... which forms main bulk of corruption...

How long did it take to stop criminal activities in Karachi when military ops were done,,, just few days,,, that's how long it will take to bring peace in Pakistan... Detachment from US-led mass-murder will leave suicidals attackers without excuses...

Less police attending to politicians will make em available to care for things & relieve military of unnecessary burden, so they will be better able to ferrot out RAW rats like MQM's Ajmal Paharees & snap their necks & make them a "SIGN" for generations to come ...
