Islamabad, July 5 (IANS) Islamabad has ordered a probe into the alleged killing of a Pakistani national by the Indian security forces at the Wagah border crossing, a media report said Sunday.
The Pakistani youth died after India’s Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers exchanged fire at the Wagah border Saturday night, the Online news agency reported.

According to the report, the Indian security guards opened fire to stop a man from crossing over to India.

Islamabad has constituted a high-level team to probe the firing incident, the report said.

The report added that border securities officials from both sides held a meeting to determine the cause of the incident.

Not shut them up, you need to stop them from crossing over. At most international borders you get shot at when you try to cross over without permissions.

Depends if that really happened. There's a lot of sloganeering at Wagah. Maybe he just pissed one of them off.

About 6-7 years back I went through it too. About a foot or two in . My longest stay in India.

There's one baba ji who goes right up to the gate shouts something nasty at the Indians and comes back. SO unless he was trying to jump over the walls across the seating area or came in with a gun, I think there's definitely some misconduct here by the Indians. People don't really get shot for getting too close to the border at Wagah.
