KARACHI: The court has awarded life imprisonment to leaders of Mohajir Qaumi Movement (Haqiqi) Afaq Ahmed and Aamir Khan in a case of murder. The court established in central jail has announced the punishment on Wednesday.

Farooq Siddiqui, the brother of Muttahida Qaumi Movement(MQM) leader Haroon Siddiqui had been killed after being severely tortured in Landhi on June 19,1992. Police had presented challan against Aamir, Dildar and Masroor but they had been acquitted in 1995.

Aamir Khan and Afaq Ahmed were accused of giving shooting orders.

Muhajir Qaumi Movement or MQM Haqiqi and Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have a long history of conflict, mostly armed and brutal.

It really is good to have such decisions. An important thing is that these two have spent nearly 15 years in prison which will be counted in their punishment.

All such brutal cases should be viewed by Courts of Law and quick decisions must be taken.

Its registered as Muhajir Qaumi Movement. MQM Hakiki. The Mutahida Quami Movement is usually referred as MQM.

Lower courts are starting to get bolder by tackling age old cases which would normally result in mass riots and is some cases, the judge getting killed. Keep up the good work and keep all the criminals behind bars.

one of my friends from suburbs of multan was telling me that these lowers courts have to send a report to CJ every day with details of cases heard, disposed off and forwarded.

Many people in sindh say the same thing.
I heard Dr qadir magsi once say on TV show that the day klashnikov culture,bhatta culture ends in karachi and free and fair elections are held that day MQMs seats will get confined to two towns of the city.
