This is because there are some rules.

1) You see a foreign object on Radar

2) You warn them and ask them to land.

3) If they do not land, SHOOT. (this is what happened to Pak's plane)

4) If they do, interrogation starts.. (and the trolling on threads too)

Let the militaries decide what course of action needs to be taken.

Well i do remember a thread on this forums , a few months ago when you guys were celebrating the accomplishment of a PAF pilot who shot an unarmed Indian plane in 1956 , when there was no ongoing war

now compared that to the atlantique incident just after Kargil war is quite acceptable since it was time of high tensions
