Default How stealthy is the stealth helo

I have not been able to find the photo a single stealth helo used in OBL raid in Abbotabad on May 2nd, 2011.

There are only pictures of the tail part from the wreck.
Some remnants of the fuselage (not the whole) from the wreck.
On web, I find artist's renderings of stealth helo.
Pentagon refuses to answer any question regarding theses helos.
    &
Almost all the marines who take part in the raid are dead after a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

The usual behavior of Americans is to boast when successful in accomplishing a mission. They usually present their technology too, just to impress the opponents and the world.

But, in the case of stealth helo; there is complete secrecy. Not a single picture of any helicopter. There even were sightings of 'Beast of Kandahar' posted on the web. But, even after a world famous event, nobody from US (army or civilian) has cared to post even a single picture of the stealth helos on the web.

An important point to note is that the wreckage of stealth helos is the only physical proof of the presence of US marines in Abbotabad on the night of May 02, 2011.

Is it only me who finds this odd or is there anybody else who also shares the feeling?
Is there really a stealth helo?

First of all, they were not Marines. They were Navy Seals.

And no, none of the 25 or so guys were killed or injured.

Second of all, there were probably not 'stealth' helicopters at all. Contrary to the popular belief (yeah I used to be one of those).

The Americans probably used Growlers to jam the area's peacetime level radar defenses so that they Seals can quietly go in and take OBL out.

And even if the Pakistanis can detect them, they can't shoot them down not because they were stealth choppers backed by Growlers, but because they were Americans.

    Yeah, I'm saying probably.

I'd say, someone certainly knew of the impending doom that was coming towards OBL.

All the ones involved in OBL attack were killed by ''Taliban fire'' and then the Americans killed all the talibans involved in the attack.

No marines are dead , this was a ploy by CIA to make people believe that those agents died so OBL clan won`t chase that group down into USA .... there were articles and news publishing people criticizing media to leak the location of the soliders who were part of that raid ...

They probbly shipped them back and gave them alternative IDs and identities back in USA and relocated their families

The SEAL's tha took part in the OBL raid are not dead. However, the there were some casualties of some members of Seal Team 6 in Afghanistan. The members that were killed were not part of the detachment that took out OBL.

As far as the Stealth Chooper, it exists, the tail rotor was not part of anything that is known to be out there today. It is most probably a heavily modified Blackhawk with special coating.

Yes the Americans must have used jamming assets other than the suppression carried on board the choppers. However, I suspect, it was more nap of the earth flying than extensive jamming. Jamming also gives away that there is some thing going on out there.

I think a stealth helo is something with very less heat and sound signature and have a capabiility to fly very close to the ground though there could be some other perks too but these were the things which we kept in mind in making our LCH.

Thank you for the input guys.... all of the above just modified official disinformation.

And that looks like a dragon in hasnain0099's pic; not a helo.

The fact is that there was some wreckage.... so it appears that some flying thing went down.
Some expert analysis also says that the tail section does not look like even a (modified or not) black hawk.

Who would compromise the identity of Navy Seals taking part in such a secret operation to journalists. Another piece of disinformation. Probably some navy seals were among the causalities that night.

According to the official story, when the mission is accomplished everybody goes on-board the second helicopter, which fires a missile on the crash-landed helo and flies away.... In the mean time, In the Army town of Abbotabad nobody (no civilian nor a army person) gives a damn and the second 'stealth' black hawk flies away to safety. In the normal scheme of things, fighter jets and helicopter were to be scrambled and second black hawk forced to land if not shot down. The response time of PAF is quick (<2 minutes) whenever the threat is on the eastern border.

I wonder if one of the PAF AWACS would be deployed at that time!
Are there any Chinese satellites that keep an eye on Pak-Afghan border? (That is if the helo came from Afghanistan and not Tarbela-Ghazi).

Whether or not you guys agree with me, this is certain that there is no published picture of the stealth helo around.

And I think that if somebody is really serious in knowing whether OBL was alive that night before being gunned down, they can do DNA fingerprinting on the youngest surviving children of OBL to check who was their father.

Look this chopper, it is believed that this is video of one Stealth helo returning from Bin Laden night raid in an undisclosed location.

Look the heli, and Listen the clear sound of american chopper, how thinner is its sound. Too much absorb.

At day pics of stealth ***.

So, this confirms what I have already said.

Absolutely no photos of the stealth helo anywhere.

All that is around is photos of wreckage which according to experts does not look like the tail of a Black Hawk helicopter.

Even you can go and google it, it differs in shape and does not have those distinctive markings.

    For me seeing is believing.

    ^^^^

I remeber, 10 years ago, people were complaining about not seeing a plane during this event too.

Mods, please don't delete, it's not off-topic; I am just drawing the parallels.
