The 583 is equipped with the Grifo M series radar the ROSE upgraded version, while the twin seater version seems to be from the OCU unit to have been converted to a refueling training aircraft. Twin seater is most probably the ex-Australian Mirage III D or the VD version i believe.
This A/C is for the recce mission if you go to the gallery and then on air force page and then mirage section and click on page 3 you will see the similar pictures over there as well for the clear view.
congrats guys.............
u hav did it !!!
When need arises..PAF gains capabilities in weeks....LAst few weeks.they have done air refuelling and motorway landings..Two big enhancements in their capabilities...
Lets see when they fit the JF-17s with Delta canards, which was an upgrade plan,as the Fighter jet's structure was built for such upgrades...
Long nose has nothing to do with aerodynamic stablity . The dual seat Mirage has come in shapes and sizes, all depending upon the users requirments.
Take a look at the pics below. It might clear the things for you.
Basically our Mirage DPs are based on Mirage 5 hence longer nose.

Hey Chogy, do you know the fuel capacity of the newer refueling stores (Pods) by any chance? I am familiar with the TE20400 with basket and a Drogue generator which had a capacity of only 300 Gallons and weighted close to 2300LBS with the refueling hose that stretched out about 50ft.
BTW, good to see you here.
I counted three candid based airframes during my last trip to the airport..
three delivered or was there an odd one out.. just parked with the rest.
