Sepura, winner of the International Trade title in Business Weekly’s East of England Business Awards, has penetrated yet another new territory with a major contract in Pakistan.
The Cambridge based TETRA digital radio specialist is to supply 10,000 radios to the Pakistan police force in the first phase of their migration to TETRA.
Further orders are expected to follow in a roll-out totalling 70,000 terminals over the next three to five years as all branches of the Pakistan Police Force migrate from analogue to TETRA.
Graham Matthews, Sepura’s CEO, said: “Sepura’s entry into Pakistan is further evidence of the company’s increasing international penetration, following other recent first-time sales in Australia, New Zealand, Macedonia and the Philippines. Sepura now has products in use in more than 90 countries.”
