Saniya you may see doctors and nurses in PAF but they are actually on deputation. This is the process.
You have to join AMC Army Med College Rawalpindi. After Grad you are giving the option to join any 3 forces Army, PAF, Navy. You as a doctor will be on deputation for the rest of your carrer if you choose to remain in PAF or Navy. In PAF you will where blue uniform in Navy whites. Your ranks will be of that force. As you get senior you will keep going back to Army for traning and different courses and them come back to PAF. Most Doctors in PAF remain in PAF because of the benifits they get from PAF. When you reach the rank of Wing Cmd ( Lt Col ) you will be transfered back to Army for 5 years and them again you have the choice to join any force. As a female you can not become a Flight Surgeon because you have to fly now and them never by your self always with a GDP . in the 70s and 80s PAF required flight surgeons to have atleats 10 to 15 hours a year so that they know what a pilot goes through.
Most females go back to Army after the rank of Lt Col because they have more scope and more departments. Remember PAF doctors are only family physician/general physician , any thing major you refer them to CMH.

Your best bet would be to call the MI Room at the PAF base next to you and talk to the Medical Specialist he or she can guide you more.

Well do you have US Citizenship alone or dual?
Also, what capacity are you serving the USAF in?
And, how old are you if you don't mind me asking?

Saniya I will get you the address but remember one thing , first it is not possible for you to join PAF if you are US citizen which you are, you have to surrender your citizenship before you join PAF , My son was a US citizen he had to surrender his US Passport before he joined PAF Academy and that was in 1988 now things are more difficult. In 1995 we had 4 cases in PAF that the boys thought that how will the PAF know that they hold dual citizenship but before they reached the second term they were out of PAF. Choice is yours i will call AHQ and get you the tele number and the address of PAF selection Center Karachi.

i really thought that my us citizenship would creat some problems but i have searched and talked to various people over this matter and wut i've been told that you just have to give it up if u are applying for a GDP branch or any secret services, but somehow if this would turn out rong ill be really mad cuz if usaf can take me in with in mind that i do carry dual nationality and i m a muslim plus giving me a secret clearence which is a big deal, then y not PAF. Sir i m really appriciated for all the information you have given me so far. thanx alot.

I'm sorry if you feel that way, but I did feel that they were relevant. I may not be as well versed in PAF recruitment as some of the other members but I still do have some insight in the process.

"Well do you have US Citizenship alone or dual?"
I asked this question for the obvious reason...

"Also, what capacity are you serving the USAF in?"
This question I asked, because the PAF from what I know, will not look highly upon you if you're serving or have served in a foreign military under a Combat Arms specialty. Do you really think that the USAF would've taken you after you had just come off of active duty within the PAF or IAF or well any military branch of any nation?

"And, how old are you if you don't mind me asking?"
This I asked, not to offend you in anyway, or to call you childish or any such things...I asked only to see if you would meet the age requirements for the PAF.

Once again, I'm sorry to have offended you but that was not my intention.

i born in Pakistan but i do have US citizenship as well otherwise i would've not got in USAF...
yes they wouldn've taken me in even if i have ever served in PAF or IAF with an even higher rank and salary based on my experience, rather i still get paid extra because i m bilingual. Dont know wut u meant by capacity but currently i m working as a 4n (physician's assistant). as far as my age concern, all those strict requirements like age limits, height weight stuff is only for GDP branch and secret services but just for your curiosity i m 22.

::sir muradk i m still waiting on ur informative call.....
