PESHAWAR: Several people are reported to be injured after three explosions rocked a market in Peshawar. The explosions took place in the Khyber Super Market.

The force of the explosions are said to have shaken surrounding areas, leaving several windows of nearby buildings shattered.

Reports suggest that between 25 and 30 people have been injured as a result of the explosions.

Another day, another atrocious incident.

A FM station in Charsadda has also been attacked.

The best course of action should be for the President to declare emergency rule and the security apparatus of this nations should be ordered to capture all militants and their supporters. They should be swiftly brought to justice in military courts and exterminated, there is no other solution.

Similarly the foreign funding of these militants from 'brotherly' nations should be abruptly stopped and the internal framework of support broken.

Two blasts ripped through a crowded market in Peshawar city in northwest Pakistan tonight, injuring at least 25 people, police said.

The explosions occurred at Khyber Super Market in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber—Pakhtunkhwa province that has repeatedly been targeted by Taliban militants over the past few years.

Officials at the Lady Reading Hospital said they had received 25 wounded. The condition of six of the injured was described as serious.

Witnesses said the second blast was more powerful.

The explosions, which occurred at about midnight, triggered a blaze that was extinguished by fire fighters.

Rescue efforts were hampered by a power cut in the area. Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

The market was crowded at the time of the blasts as it has several eateries that are frequented by people.

No group claimed responsibility for the blasts.

The area where the blast happened is not under army control, its civilian area.

The death toll has reached to 20, unofficially figure is being quoted as 30+, around a dozen critically injured and around 80 or so injured.

There are reports of 2 blasts, one small one, people gathered and then the big explosion.

Seems to be a planted bomb, but cracker blast was first and then a major bomb blast.

The place is full of students living area, office going guys and this time of night, especially on weekends, this area is full of guys doing walk, having dinner, gup shup.

Its very sickening as i go to that place nearly every day.
