In general all Pakistani tribesmen are good people.

The fight in Kurrm is not between Turis and Taliban. Rather its a fight between two rival tribes and everyone knows that.

Its another matter that some clever minds from Turi tribe in the recent times come up with making it like fight between Taliban and Turis.

I have heard both sides exibit same extremism when ever they have upper hand
they even kill the animals of each other and refuse to consume them because these idiots think that even animals of opposing sects are haram

Bangash tribe is very diverse. It has Sunni as well as Shia people.

Hussain i dont know how Iranian people take it. But the dispute in Kurram between rival tribes. It ranges from land, minerals to Water issues.


I pity BBC over this reporting where it has failed to verify before publishing it as taking over of the area in 2007 by Taliban. Whereas entire media here knows that fight in 2007 towards the end of the year when Eid was approaching, some unkown miscreants started the fire by firing in a Bazaar in Parachinar which results in deaths and the fire spread to sectarian killings.

daily we used to received reports of daily killings and the most noted factor was most of reporters of media in Kurram are shias so most of the times we would be left wondering how to cope with exaggeration.

At the end of the conflict through talks between both sides the casualty count was much much higher on Sunni side.

Anyway the bottom line is this is purely a tribal feud which is often turned into sectarian one by some outsiders from both sides

In case of main Kurram they support their tribe not sect. Whereas another fact is that most of Bangash (both shia and sunni) are educated and on good posts mostly concentrated in Kohat where this issue is not grave.

In a tribal fight it happens. every side tries to inflict as much loses on the other as it can.
