guy, my first post here.
the most fitted strategy at the point is what i called ECO strategy, and it might be the most convient exit to Pakistan's entrapped maze.
First and most important, the Economy.
Our economy is in real bad shape when india's part of the economic bulk -BRICS. I read a few posts in the forum and one member says, Pakistan has everything to be proud of, mid-sized territory(not bad, forget about the wars), population, resources, educated people, good location, and less aggressive religious movement, well, to be a prosperous nation.
Indeed, the war against Taliban really make our economy a mess. the United States has everything to compensate us, just for the condrum and the passage we provided and sacrificed for this war. Those B****** US politicians has no hearts and conscience. but it's fine, we learnt something from the past 8 years. we cannot trust them.
We need help from China, which is also in their interest. China has experiences in handling economy and has sufficient fund that we need. I bet it's also in China's agenda to develop a economically strong Pakistan. what hinder them is the war and some politicians' swing between superpowers.
to name a few, some industry we can develop well: Agriculture, we have good farming land, warm and irrigation, which China has tech but no such land, the potential is huge. Labor-intensive Industries, China is in the short run of young labors recently, they can shift some to Pakistan, well, that's also a huge move. Infrastructure, we should persuade them rent gwadar as naval base since Chinese are sensitive in the issue. and we can request meanwhile they start a industrial park nearby, hire people and solve poverty. they are doing a lot of constructions such as road, dams, river, over the years in Pakistan but we also need a comprehensive plan for the whole economy. A railway link to China and Iran, for example. Industial parks can be built across the country, where other nations also invited, US, India and Gulf countries, but the key point is we need hire Chinese macro-manage those parks for they are more disciplined.
last but not least, Organized.
Corruption does not mean we will give up, always, our hope. we should fight this by any possible means. the war in north should be stopped right now. US may insist on existence in our territory and around and we have to deal that, but we need to be prepared for long efforts and at the same time we develop our economy. time is priceless. (Indian economy grow 8-9 percent a year, think about it).
Raise your hope, Pakistanis. The future lies in our hands. Be strong, Be resolute and Be happy.
