how conveniently said, and what makes you think that Russia won't veto anything against India ? you have only china to back you up we have everybody except china so we have more say in UN than you pakistanis.

lol thanks for accepting it so shamefully, "like no history like no future" oh wait what the Arabs would say about your conversion into a infidel state ? you are one of the most loyal Arab sucker I've seen on this forum. many pakistanis would agree with me too.

Second about the Trans Karakorum Pact , Pakistan never ceded any part of its territory to China ...

In the 1950s Pakistan became concerned that Chinese maps showed areas of Pakistan in China. In 1961 Ayub Khan sent a formal Note to China, and a year later China proposed a provisional agreement, subject to final resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Negotiations resulted in an agreement signed on 2 March 1963. The agreement resulted in China withdrawing from about 750 sq m of territory, and Pakistan abandoning its claim to about 2,050 sq m of territory (which it had not in fact occupied or administered).[10]

Finally, Pakistan transferred no territory already under its control to China.” (Page 116; emphasis added, throughout.) It was instead China which “transferred control of some 1,942 square kilometres” to Pakistan.

Little knowledge is really dangerous , isn't it ?
its part of original Kashmir, isn't it ? so why is your deeper, taller and sweeter friend occupying it ? why ain't you guys fighting to release the china occupied Kashmir ? doesn't that land belong to Kashmiris anymore ? or is it southern Tibet for you too ?

I think both India and Pakistan were being strategic knowing that with Russia and China vetoing there was no point in voting against the resolution.

Dont worry about India not having Veto powers , India has much much more international support and recognition as compared to Pakistan on most issues . Indias clever diplomacy and foreign policy ensures International support for India !

Which other country has had defense deals and Nuclear deals with both US and Russia at the same time in history ! This is all due to deft handling of foreign policy which unfortunately pakistan hasnt been able to pull off !

Pakistan's and China's interest do not always align. In this case, I think Pakistan did the thing to stand with its Arab allies in condemning Syria's Asad regime's brutality against its own people.

It is understandable that being a smaller country they always have depended on of the bigger powers for aid , defense supplies and support etc etc... but the relationship they have had is all lopsided in favor of the bigger partner who has used and misused them to fulfill their needs (Afghan,WOT being prime example)
China gives verbal assurance to Pakistan but does trade and business with India ,
US bombs them ,pays them $$$ to clean the mess US created in name of WOT whereas US does trade and business with India
similar story with EU,Russia and most other countries too ...

Indias Non aligned status and far sighted foreign policies has won them more friends than Pakistans

I dont get the point trying to be made in post #1.

Pak should have sided China due to its ' brotherly relations '?

Well, brothers too have divergent views and next, shouldn't Pak do what it feels is right ?

Shows where the loyalties of the current leadership lie. They'd even sell their family members for money.
