Why?Aren't the drone strikes good for pakistan?

Pakistan is very weak country and unable to stop drones since 2008. Let's stop our own drones programs. The so-called mighty Pakistan army is all bullshit, yep!

KARACHI: The US said it was adamant on continuing drone attacks but was seriously contemplating a formal apology for the Salala check post incident that killed 24 Pakistani troops in November last year.

According to the US media, White House officials proclaimed that drone strikes would resume on receipt of reports of high-value targets, as eradicating terrorist hideouts was in their national interest. The officials added that the US will continue cooperation on common interests with Pakistan.

On the other hand, a newspaper claimed that according to an official at the White House, the US is seriously considering a formal apology for the drone attack that killed 24 soldiers last year.

Earlier, the parliament had made a bold attempt to change the power balance between Pakistan and the US by calling for a halt to drone attacks and refusing to allow Pakistani airspace to be used by the US.

With regard to the U.S. drone strikes, Pakistan does not have the capability nor the clout in any international fora to stop them. But then, whatever happened to that much vaunted Pak-China friendship which both claim is higher than the mountains, deeper than the oceans and sweeter than honey?

China hasn't said a word nor applied any pressure on America and the West or taken any initiative in the Security Council of which it is a permanent member, to put a stop to all drone strikes within Pakistan territory.

Intriguing to say the least! Perhaps China's own national interests are coming in the way of helping its 'all weather ally'.

We could always threaten to shoot them down or do an Iran style on the drones, however I believe my original viewpoint of arresting CIA personnel and to threaten to hold them for war crimes and crimes against humanity as even in International law these drone strikes are deemed illegal, the US will immediately cease all operations as it will be the first time it's personnel will be on trial for war crimes.

U have showen us a nice option, if USA can give 12 years, to a pakistani citizen in US for supporting, terrorsits than pakistan can give CIA opreatives & contractors 24 years of punishment!for the use of drones, & killing innocent pakistanis.

With total agreement, drones is a stratagic anti-pakistan weapon, & its is creating, soLe terror in pakistan, techniclly speaking , no one knows , who is next target? No one ! should think himself,safe ! Either he is sitting in prime minister,or president house, or even GHQ?

A: Extend the writ of the government into North Waziristan and other tribal areas to eliminate all terrorist sanctuaries without any distinction, so that there is no reason for the drones to do what the Pakistan Army should be doing on its own territory.

Yeah we should start a war when America is talking with them to end one? So you are giving Pakistan a choice whether to die by the drone or die by the bomb?

The military leaders nor the civilian leaders won't fight the Americans, I suggest the Pakistani people do this on their own. Let's see if the generals give the order to shoot at their own people in the process.
