If Pakistani can live with it ...why should we bother....
US must now also apologise for air freighting lethal supplies thru Pakistani aerospace...![]()
arent you the same people questioning why Pakistan doesnt allow land route, now you asking why we allow arial supply. what do you want, was the reason Pakistan created to make every Indian happy??
you should ask your govt why they are helping NATO use lethal weapons in Afghnistan, what happens india should concern you, you will never be asked why Pakistan does things it does.
Pakistan is not doing anybody any favour. NATO is there under the aegis of the UN. Pakistan is only fulfilling its UN obligations.
Re: Pakistan secretly permitting lethal NATO supply via air
What is the source of this news, please post the link.
Via air? From where? For your info, all of the airlift missions for the deployment are planned, tasked and command-and-controlled by the 618th Air and Space Operations Center's Theater Direct Delivery division at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. As Eighteenth Air Force's hub for global operations, the 618th AOC plans, schedules and directs a fleet of nearly 1,300 mobility aircraft in support of strategic airlift, air refueling, and aeromedical evacuation operations around the world.
The tanks and other warlike equipment are taken by ship for the majority of the trip around the world, and airlifted the last portion of their journey into land-locked Afghanistan by Air Force C-17s.
Now that means a huge American logistics node for the 618th AOC would have been set up either at Faisal Air base at Karachi or Pasni. There would be a number of C-17 squadrons required for airlift ops into Afghanistan, which would need to be based here.
Do these airbases have the wherewithal for handling the enormous requirements of such logistics nodes? And could this all have been kept secret? It would have taken months to transport the infrastructure required for establishing them.
I think this report is complete baloney.

If you can't tell the difference between an unarmed military transport plane and an armed unmanned aerial vehicle, you need some consideration over your choice of forum. As for Indian planes not being able to fly over Pakistan, India's commercial carrier operates a number of routes that fly through the corridor however. like I said, they do not represent a threat. Military transports of the IA however are another story, their cargo might be detrimental to our interests and thus warrant checking but if they have their cargo inspected then we cannot stop the plane from using our airspace.
If there was any logic in that brain fart, I would have rebutted it, since there is none, here's a funny cat picture instead.

There's nothing secret about it, the air corridor has always remained open, some people might just have been late to realize that!
