Germans dedicate road to ALLAMA IQBAL SAAB!
Allama Iqbal earned his doctorate of Philosophy in University of Heidelberg near the river Rhine. The Germans have named the street most adjacent to the the university with his name.
It is heart warming indeed to see the name of one of our founding fathers and a fellow Kashmiri name on a street in the great German nation. Germans dedicate road to Allama Iqbal
My heartfelt thanks to the German people. Tehran is the only other city where I remember coming across a 'Jinnah Street'.
Wish there were more Pakistanis worthy of other countries naming their streets after them. |

He's probably one of the only writers (that too who accepted religion) who wrote in favor of Nietzsche's secular writings. Perhaps that's one of the reasons behind it?
