Bomb blast in Karachi, one dead: police KARACHI, Jan 14 (AFP): A bomb exploded in Karachi on Monday as Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf visited the southern city, killing one person and wounding up to 20, police said.“I can confirm that 14 are injured and one is dead in the bomb blast,” a senior police official, told AFP. Another police officer said around 20 people were wounded in the explosion in the crowded commercial area of Landhi. Home Secretary Arif Ahmed Khan confirmed there had been a bomb blast but said he did not have casualty details yet.(Posted @ 20:34 PST, Updated @ 20:50)

Martial law I doubt but curfews and para patrolling will definitely be taking place soon. Especially if law and order is to be maintained before, during and after the elections.
