it is a unfinished pre prototype. otokar will use it for speed test under various conditions. they will test engine transmission and other equipments. i think more prototypes will follow this for other tasks. Next one for fire tests.

The turret is same mock-up revealed into IDEF fair and The serial production turrets will be different than the one seen on image with add-on Roketsan armours. The inital chassis section is the one portor wheels are mounted on Altay suspension system and MTU engine purchased from Germany is in there for road trials. The chassis prototype even lacks of armour protection.

So it means, tests will undergo without the actual combat-weight. Which means we are still in early stages.

Even though i know that Pakistan Army hates heavy tanks because of our fine sand terrain on the eastern border. I however do wish to see this tank in Pakistan Army.
